MetSense Partner

We are looking for companies that already work in Winter Road Maintenance or ITS.

An ideal Partner should have existing relationships with the end-users, i.e. transport ministries, road administrations, or local municipalities, to whom they can present our products.

A Partner should be able to perform or organise a range of activities:

• Pre-sale and sale of Winter Road Maintenance products
• Road Weather Station site design & construction
• Road Weather Station installation & commissioning
• Road Weather Station servicing & maintenance

Our sensors are unique and for many of them, there are no open tenders to readily compete in. Particularly the 2DRoad represents a new class of a Road Weather Station.

Therefore the Partner initially has to engage in significant pre-sale activities with end-users to develop the business.

Subsequently, the Partner should be able to perform or organise the following activities, depending on the end-user needs:

• Road Weather Station site design & construction
• Road Weather Station installation & commissioning
• Road Weather Station servicing & maintenance

As our partner you will have:

• Access to borrow our 2DRoad DemoKit or to purchase it at a lowered price.
• Access to our annual partner training.
• A say in our continuous product development to best fit your needs.
• The potential to receive regional exclusivity.
• A share of the recurring revenues.

To qualify as a MetSense Partner, a company should at minimum:

• Show experience in Winter Road Maintenance or ITS.
• Have existing relationships with end-users.

Given the above, the company must:

• Participate in one of our training seminars to learn about our products and our understanding / opinion of the future of Winter Road Maintenance.
• Show to be actively promote our products.

In MetSense, we differentiate our products not only through their technological capabilities, but also by their pricing structure. Our products have a set end-user price, written down on this very website.

Our Partners get a % cut of the end user price, which increases with sale volume.

Some of our products are also automatically sold with accompanying services, e.g. a "Connectivity + Visualisation Software" for the 2DRoad. Such service fee profits are also shared with the Partner.

Furthermore, our Partners profit from performing the standard Winter Road Maintenance activities enabled by the sale of our products:

• Road Weather Station site design & construction
• Road Weather Station installation & commissioning
• Road Weather Station servicing & maintenance

We enter into Regional Exclusivity with Partners that either have significant reference from one of our existing Partners or more usually upon building an initial relationship with that Partner.

We are open to signing a Regional Exclusivity for a specific country or state(s) and a mid-term period, during which the Partner has to fulfil a pre-set sales revenue. If revenue targets are repeatedly met, such Regional Exclusivity terms can run ad infinitum.
