2DRoad Test for Transport Scotland

Transport Scotland is running a 2 winter season test of different Road Weather Station sensors on the M8 motorway between Glasgow and Edinburgh in Scotland, UK. The test commenced in 2018 and is expected to finish in 2020. MetSense is participating with 2DRoad, where the local conditions with heavy traffic and frequent fog are stress testing the device to its limit.

Having been pushed to develop some additional functionalities to deal with these complex conditions, we are confident that the 2DRoad is suitable for any motorway application regardless of traffic volume.
