The first 2DRoad installed in the USA

In late summer of 2023 we supplied the first 2DRoad installed in the USA - it is located on the outskirts of Salt Lake City, the capital of the State of Utah, and operated by Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT).

Those approaching the Salt Lake City from the east on the highway I 80 pass the point called "Mouth of Parleys" where the local climate is influenced by both the proximity of a large city and edge of a mountain range. Because of this mixture of influences and heavy traffic, it is essential that local road authorities obtain the best possible information about local weather and road conditions so that optimal measures can be taken in time to keep traffic flowing in the event of adverse conditions. This is why UDOT chose this location as a test site for 2DRoad.
